PetEmote with 3.0.2
Just a few words, before I spend a week on holiday, where I will probably have no internet connection.
After I accomplished connecting to the 3.0.2 Beta realm this week, I was testing PetEmote there and had to make some changes to bring it back to work. These changes were very close to the emote core, what I don’t like so much, because it might become a bit instable (maybe some of you can remember the crashes in a very early version).
While testing for some hours I didn’t find any problems. So let me say: PetEmote will go on!
Meanwhile I included some new functions, for example a simple help system and a message whenever a newer version is found anywhere. Maybe I will get 1.6 to run before the Patch comes, which will bring back our good old feeding emotes (better than in 1.4, of course) and — for the first time — combat emotes. However, there will be an update duly to patch 3.0.2.

I like this addon but problem is I tamed hawk from northrend and tried to edit the “Owl-en” in custom – emotes.LUA to “Bird of Prey” as recommend upon login i am getting this error:
..\AddOns\PetEmote\default-emotes.lua line 1989:
‘=’ expected near ‘char(6)’
dont know where in the string is going wrong:/ Any Idea as to when 1.6.0 will be completed ?

das klappt nicht, ich habs runtergeladen wow neu gestartet aber mein wolf macht nix D: weiß wer, was ich mache, ich hab auch scho /tier zufall eingegeben …….. und alles mögliche

Also wann immer das Addon mal irgendwo nicht ging, lag es immer daran, dass es entweder nicht richtig installiert oder nicht aktiviert war. Viel mehr kann ich da leider nicht helfen.
Im Moment gibt es eventuell ein Problem mit dem /pet Befehl, weil Blizzard den anscheinend für ein sinnloses Emote selbst verplant hat. Mit /tier sollte es aber in jedem Fall gehen. Leider kann ich im Moment nicht mehr helfen, weil mein Account ein wenig zu ist.
