Just a few words, before I spend a week on holiday, where I will probably have no internet connection.

After I accomplished connecting to the 3.0.2 Beta realm this week, I was testing PetEmote there and had to make some changes to bring it back to work. These changes were very close to the emote core, what I don’t like so much, because it might become a bit instable (maybe some of you can remember the crashes in a very early version).

While testing for some hours I didn’t find any problems. So let me say: PetEmote will go on!

Meanwhile I included some new functions, for example a simple help system and a message whenever a newer version is found anywhere. Maybe I will get 1.6 to run before the Patch comes, which will bring back our good old feeding emotes (better than in 1.4, of course) and — for the first time — combat emotes. However, there will be an update duly to patch 3.0.2.

Today I opened a new category: Expeditions. Privily hoping, that I will have more interesting things to write about, this place is for less established locations all over Azeroth. Discovering new places is a necessity for me and the facet that I like most in any game.

Who didn’t always want to visit the airport next to Ironforge, throw a party with trolls near Darkshore or see Zul’Gurub in its raw state? All roads are open to a real discoverer, if he brings along enough ingenuity, knowledge of the places and a little sympathy for some technical stuff.

Nearly every area of Azeroth, that you can see down from a gryphon, can be visited and explored by foot. Along the way you can see really whimsical things and gain insight into the developer’s work. More precisely, you will learn how long their coffee breaks must be, since many places are frighteningly unfinished. But who cares — most players will never see it.

At the moment, I am not sure, if I will issue detailed instructions on how to get to some places. Finally I don’t want to get spanked by Blizzard.
